My name is Alex Brooks and I’m from Red Bank, New Jersey. I grew up surfing the beach breaks of Monmouth county and have always been in love the heavy winter barrels they produce. I graduated from Flagler College in Florida, where I was a part of the surf team and completed a degree in Coastal Environmental Science. I’ve traveled up and down the whole east coast, California, Costa Rica as well as Puerto Rico (where I am currently spending the winter season). Some other activities I enjoy doing during my free time are spear fishing and skateboarding. Ian’s boards have worked great for me in all sorts of waves and I look forward to continuing to work with him to make the best boards possible.
